Optimum protection during internal transport
|
When 7-800 loudspeaker units are moved among the departments at Dynaudio in Skanderborg, they are being protected in recyclable transport trays made of impact absorbing EPP. The EPP trays have almost revolutionized the internal transport, and have also resulted in a rationalisation profit.
"We were looking for a new internal transport solution", production manager Flemming Madsen says.

The choice fell on trays of the light and impact absorbing EPP material, |

which was delivered by Styropack A/S in the shape of black, specially moulded trays of the dimension: 80 x 120 cm.
"The trays fit 10 of our products, and thus we have also achieved an essential rationalisation of transport material for internal use. The transport among the departments is now much more under control. The solution is good, it is protecting well, looks fine, and can be easily handled by the employees", says Flemming Madsen. | |
