Luxury table plates demand quality packaging

Geisler A/S produces and sells tailored table plates of laminate and terrazzo through almost every kitchen and bath centre in Denmark. A new combination solution from Styropack of corrugated cardboard and EPS reduces the packing time and gives fewer claims.

"We consider our table plates as fragile luxury furniture. A part of the service, we yield, is the table plates being delivered to the customers in a perfect condition. The packaging solution, which we have developed in cooperation with Styropack means that we get almost no complains due to damages during transport. The packaging also signalises a higher degree of quality than the previous packing in chipboard boxes", explains the manager Bo Geisler.

The table plates are delivered with or without plane glued boiling plate or under glued sink. The Styropack solution consists of a special corrugated cardboard box around the different types of sinks, and U-profiles for the table plate.
