After having worked systematically with the working environment for many years Styro-pack A/S has got visible evidence of its effort by the award of the working environment certificate.
"All three production sites at Glejbjerg, at Osted, and at Maribo have previously achieved the highest placing at the adjusted supervision made by The Danish Working Environment Service. This is clear evidence that we ourselves can and want to handle the environment tasks of the company. Besides this we were to make a comprehensive revision of our environmental manual, and thus it was natural to go the whole length and be environmentally certified", says Jesper Andersen, managing director.
"The process in connection with the working environment certificate is a good start to the present process, which is and must be within the working environment, making us certain that good results are kept, and that we currently make improvements at relevant areas", he continues.
Styropack has chosen a certificate according to OHSAS 18001, as this is an international standard, making communication with foreign customers and contacts about the working environment easier, when the reference is the same.
